I was in North Miami yesterday when I heard that rapper XXXtentacion was shot in Hollywood, FL. I had no clue who he was, but hearing that news made me upset. Where was his bodyguard? Why was he alone? It disturbs me that this happened so close to my home. Here’s the tea..
How can people be so heartless? There is a serious problem in the world that needs to be fixed. All of this jealousy, envy and hatred towards each other is getting us nowhere.
Was the guy a piece of shit? You could say so, yeah. He abused his pregnant girlfriend. But did he deserve to die? No one deserves to die especially at the hands of another person.
I feel all of this can be attributed to social media. Everyone wants likes, everyone wants followers, everyone buys into what everyone posts about themselves and they develop this nefarious energy thinking that they lack something.
News Flash! The grass is always greener on the other side!
I have so many friends that tell me how amazing my life looks. “I live vicariously through you” they say… not realizing they could have had this life also had they chose not to do what society led them blindly into doing; getting married, having kids, etc.
I am not doing anything different from what anyone else who chooses to live outside society’s bubble is doing. I have pain and problems just like everyone else.
This kid was in tons of legal trouble and seemed to be battling demons, but he was famous and had money–And that’s really all people care about now days.
Our generation wants all of this attention, fame and followers without realizing the downfalls that come with it. When you are famous you need to watch your back even more because not everyone is your friend. Not everyone operates on the same frequency that you do.
After doing some research I found out XXXtentacion did some not so great things, but recently was taking steps to become a better person.
He had his whole life ahead of him only for it to be taken by some jealous coward. It shocks me people are that soulless to shoot someone, steal a material possession and leave them for dead even if he was a piece of garbage it is not someone else’s duty to take another person’s life.
People are killing people for Louie Vuitton bags. That is the state of the world we are in right now. I think that is what bothers me the most about this. It wasn’t his pregnant ex shooting him for revenge. It was some thug who didn’t want to see this kid shine.
I can’t help but feel that this XXXtentacion thing was done out of jealousy. You really need to be careful of the people and energies you surround yourself with. This is a key reminder of that.
We hold the answers to all the world’s problems. Stop the hate, stop the jealousy, be you, be authentic—Love one another. #nowthatsthefuckingtea
